Evaporator Coils

Evaporator coils or we called DX direct expansion coils does have the same function to heat exchange ambient air to become cold air. What difference is evaporator uses refrigerant as medium instead of water to heat exchange.

It can be also be use as a form of reheating for dehumidification purposes to control Relative Humidity (RH) if medium use is hot refrigerant.
